Ms. Cotugno is a senior level paralegal with seven years of general practice experience and over fifteen years of intellectual property experience. She has expertise in domestic and foreign patent application prosecution and patent maintenance and is trained in filing patent applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty and before the European Patent Office. Suzanne is responsible for maintaining the firm’s computer docketing system and for oversight and weekly reporting of all domestic and foreign deadlines for patent, trademark and litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Suzanne was the Patent Docketing coordinator at the law firm of DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary in Chicago, Illinois and prior to that was a Senior IP Paralegal with UOP, L.L.C. in Des Plaines, Illinois where she was solely responsible for coordinating preparation and filing of all domestic patent applications, payment of all fees and annuities in domestic and foreign patent prosecution and maintenance.
Ms. Cotugno received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science with a minor in German Language from Loyloa University, a Paralegal Certification from Rooselvet University in Chicago Illinois and an Associate Degree in Accounting from Harper College. Ms. Cotugno speaks French, German and Latin.
